1914 Ames Snowmobile – Harlan Ramey adapted his 1913 Harley Davidson motorcycle to handle the snowy streets of Ames. He poses in the alley with passengers Bill Thul and Niva Nichols. It appears to have a front sled (rather than a ski) added for steering and a small wooden sled added to the rear so he could carry the lady in style.
